Mindy was the daughter of Bruce and Doris Allen, and MaDonna and Alfred LaVare, her life was centered around her children Daniel and Mikala. She was a member of the parent teacher organization of JCEO and a volunteer at the Malone Amvets, she enjoyed reading and her computer, she married Michael Alferi on December 8, 2001, the marriage ended and she became engaged to William Comstock ll (BJ) who was by her side the whole time through her illness and they were planning to be married upon her release from the hospital. Mindy had been hospitalized since November of 2010 due to complications from diabetes and strokes that caused severe brain damage. Mindy is loved and missed by everyone, as she touched the lives of many.
